Hello! I'm Owen, and I'm looking for a job.

What sort of job will depend entirely on you and what your business does!

I'll give you a brief history of what I've done, what I'm willing to do and what I would like to avoid! If you would like further details, please feel free to contact me.

Ok, so for starters, I have 11 GCSE's (grade A-D) and a BTEC National Diploma in contemporary popular music.

I have an extensive background in customer services, meaning whatever your business, your customers would experience exactly the service and interaction they deserve from you. Under the customer service umbrella, I've worked in Retail, Insurance, Logistics and Environmental/Waste Management to name but a few.

I'm trustworthy, reliable and punctual. - I have worked alone, as part of a team and also in positions of responsibility. I have experience of managing staff, cash handling and whilst working in the prison service have been required to sign the official secrets act.

My main passion in life is music. I've played drums in bands for the last 13 or 14 years and have been fortunate enough to have organised, performed on and managed several UK tours. This has led me to working as a sound engineer, a stagehand and stage manager at gigs and festivals around the country. I also play several other instruments, including guitar, keyboard and bass.

I've recently taken an interest in construction trades and am at college part-time, learning how to become a plasterer. I have an OCN Level one qualification in plumbing as well as a fair knowledge of carpentry & bricklaying and considerable experience of painting. I'm also booked on to a part-time course in electrics, due to start in March. I've got a valid CSCS card so am available to work on site and in previous years have completed various H&S, manual handling and first aid courses.

Effectively, I'm very open to most areas of employment - even if I've not listed any experience of what your business does, get in contact anyway as I'm sure some skills will be transferrable and I'm a very quick learner!

The only things I'd like to avoid if possible are - Sales (I've tried it before and it's really not for me!) Pure Customer Services (I'm aware that ALL jobs require customer service and that's fine - I just don't want to go back to the battery-hen lifestyle of customer service call centres!)

I guess that's it for now... Obviously I've got a lot more to share, but not quite as publicly!
