GardenShare Bristol links up people who have an unused corner of their garden with local growers. We are looking for volunteer Local Representatives to help spread the scheme to more parts of the city. See website for more details: http://gardensharebristol.blogspot.com/

The role involves:

Meeting local people who have expressed an interest in GardenShare Bristol to explain more about the scheme including aims and objectives.

Carrying out informal interviews with potential growers and garden owners to create a GardenShare profile.Matching garden owners and gardeners in your area.

Publicising GardenShare Bristol in your local area, including putting up posters, contacting local newsletters and media and making links with local organisations.

Attending monthly city-wide team meetings to share experience and help develop the organisation.
