Purpose

This law are looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our expanding Employment team based in Bristol. Employment department is spread across three offices in Bristol, Solihull and New Malden and undertakes a broad spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious work on behalf of a varied client base.

Duties
• To provide corporate support particularly in respect of acquisition work;
• To advise our clients in respect of employment issues involved in sale/purchase of companies as well as undertaking due diligence and negotiating and amending the relevant sections of the sale/purchase agreement;
• To advise respondent clients in respect of employment and HR issues as well as undertaking tribunal litigation for a mixture of Claimants and Respondents.

Competencies
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, directors and our own Corporate department in respect of acquisition work;
• Keen to succeed for themselves and our clients;
• Task-orientated;
• Good organisational skills;
• Ability to work to deadlines;
• Ability to remain calm under pressure;
• Must have a keen interest in pursuing corporate work.
Experience
• Experience in dealing with corporate support work;
• Experience in dealing with a range of tribunal litigation, including various types of discrimination.
