RECONCILIATION ACCOUNTANTRobert half International are currently recruiting for a Project/Reconciliation Accountant to work for a Financial Services Company in central Bristol.

The Role

Working in a small team you will pay a vital role in investigating reconciliation breaks (discrepancies) identified. The aim of the project is to identify why these discrepancies have occurred and then provide the correct accounting entries for rectification.Priority should be given to ensuring complex and material breaks, according to value and debt age, are actioned accordingly.Your role will be to assess and prioritise breaks in order to investigate the greatest financial and reputational riskTo identify, understand and report payment discrepancies, potential operational losses, customer dissatisfaction, external party relationship and departmental issues including systems or procedures breakdown, potential improvements in the reconciliation process and highlighting potential areas for training.
