The focus of this brand is to provide fresh food and excellent service in comfortable and stylish surroundings Job Description As an Assistant Manager you will assist the General Manager in all aspects of running the business including Staffing, Budget Control, Stock Taking and achieving Brand Standards. This company is very Brand focused and as an Assistant Manager you should feel comfortable running a business which requires you and your staff to adhere to set company guidelines whilst ensuring that you are competitive in your marketplace. These restaurants are highly successful and can become busy and fast paced. Managers should feel at home on the restaurant floor running their business and working in a hands on capacity when required. You will be responsible for training and developing your team and ensuring that all team members are given the opportunity to fulfil their full potential whilst you take on additional training courses and development to ensure you achieve your own goals. Required Experience As a branded business there will be a real focus on brand standards, corporate specifications and recipes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all these standards are adhered to and all your staff are fully trained in the companies procedures, therefore experience in a branded environment would be an advantage. You should have experience of staff training and be able to motivate and inspire you team whilst working under pressure. As a minimum you must have worked in a Supervisory capacity running a team of no less that 10 people for 1 year with knowledge of Front of House and basic Back of House operations. Ideally you will have a current Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Salary and Benefits The starting salary for this role is 16000 and bonuses can be achieved on a Quarterly basis dependant on the business results against budgets and KPI's.
