Active Assistance provides the very best live in care for adults and children with high level physical disabilities, specialising in spinal cord injury and we are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team of Personal Care Assistants (PA).

As a PA you will work with our clients on a live-in basis for between 1 and 3 weeks at a time. Whilst you are working the client provides food and accommodation and we pay for your travel costs to and from each assignment. You will be providing practical support to enable our clients to live an active life. This will include general domestic tasks, personal care and driving. Previous experience of working with disabled adults and/or children is a definite advantage, however, we provide a comprehensive 5 day training course to prepare our PAs for working with our clients. Our 29 year old physically disabled female client is currently at University studying for a degree and attending work placements. Her carer is required to assist in lectures and at work. She enjoys going to the cinema and theatre, as well as going to the pub and clubbing. If you enjoy a student lifestyle then this client may be for you.

To qualify to work with Active Assistance as a PA you must :-
-Be over 21 years of age *
-Hold a Driving Licence valid for driving in the UK
-Be eligible to work in the UK either through your nationality or by holding a valid UK Work Permit/Visa
-Have excellent English language skills
-Ideally, be a non-smoker

When working as a PA with Active Assistance you will receive:-
