This advert is to nay one whose looking to recruit new staff. I ma currently looking for a new job and I be villanelle to start a new job on the 4th august. I currently work in retail full time, on the customer servies desk. After been given the opportunity of working on the customer serves desk full time past 2 years in sainsburys. It has give me the opportunity to learn new skills, also on how to deal with the public in a professional manner. I have learnt new skills on how to great clients as well as customers in a warm welcome, friendly manner. Also I have learnt the skill on how to stay clam and act in a professional manner when dealing with customers complaints. These complaints could be from a wide range off faulty products/ food. To nectar or bank problems that I have to stay calm and explain to customer the problem in a professional atmosphere so I am able to solve the problem as quickly as I can. To make sure the customer goes way happy, and willing to revisit the store.
Whilst on the desk mainly in the evenings one of my main duties is answering the telephone to customers. These calls will also be dealing with mostly complaints, from when customer gets home realise there problem with there shopping. My job is to make sure they can get problem sorted for when the revisit the store they can come pick up there refund. As well on the phone I take customer orders that I have write down on computer using certain programmes, make sure gets pass onto head office and stock control.
For the past few years I have learnt on how to use computer programmes I never image plus learn the basics in more experience way. On a daily basis in work and out work. The software I use is the internet, Microsoft words. excels, PowerPoint. At work been trained to use business programmes that im able pick up quickly. For example rss, cis, fsl. As well when studying at school and college in media . I had opportunity to use media programs on computers like media digital on apple/ mac.
On the desk its usually just me mainly in the day. So I had to learn how to plan my day make sure able to get every thing sorted, whilst dealing with customers. when first start my shift my first thing is make sure get all my flight bag for sorted for the day. Make sure all gift vouchers are written in the book so cash office can keep count how many we use. Some nights when busy on tills i have been given the opportunity to leave my department help on checkouts as a team to make sure that all tidy for the next sift. Also I been given the opportunity to do flights in the evening cashing up all tills.
I am a very flexible person. I have worked main different shift according when they need me. I worked early in mornings to late at night shifts. At Christmas I also worked quite lot over time. Even though im full time. As I understand that there busy time, that a lot companies can get there busy spell and need help. So im willing give it when i can.
I enjoy working with people, public. Working effectively in a team, being supportive to people and putting people at ease.
The way i also been taught when comes dealing with the public. If client or customer was to treat them on how i would like be treated. So how I did this was think of a situation when i was dealt by a member staff in a shop. Thought on how they dealt with me think, if i could beater my self. whilst i been on the desk i have learnt allot about mystery customers. My opinion is you also treat very customer the same, most importantly think on the situation think on how you like be treated dif it was you in the situation like going to work to make people happy go way happy , make sure they had an enjoyable shop. I am a very flexible person when come to my working hours. i be able to work any day provide, even come in one day at short notices.
I’m currently now looking for a new way out and in to a new career . I’m willing to do nay type of job, the only thing im fuzzy in is call centres and door to door marketing. I do have acv if you like to see, please just ask . Also references on request.
