Recording Studio:

Our Recording Studio can be used for Band Recordings, Demo Production, Stag/Hen/Birthday/Office Parties, Songwriter Commercial Demo Production and much more. We can use the recording studio in any of the lessons below or teach you how to use it for yourself.

Courses:

Our courses are short evening and weekend courses to fit around your working life. If a time we've booked doesn't suit you, let us know and we will add another session.

1 Vocal Improvisation - Break free from your musical boundaries and let loose lyrics you never knew you had! A 4 week course run by Billy Salisbury on Thursday evenings.
2 The Craft of Songwriting - An 8 week course delving deep into the creative process of songwriting. We demonstrate 5 different starting points and record your song by the end of the course. With Carolin Seitz and Ben Woodward on Friday evenings and Saturday daytimes. (Intensive one day courses coming soon. Just email us to be added to the mailing list)
3 Recording and Production - Record a band, produce an artist and create your own tracks. 8 week course and 1 day intensive courses available. With Ben Woodward on Saturdays.
4 Explore your Voice - An 8 week vocal development course for intermediate and advanced singers. Explore the technical and artistic aspects of the voice and record your demo on Saturdays.

Singing Lessons:

Our voice coaching is professional, fast and exciting, which makes us some of the best in the west!
Whether you are looking for fun lessons or to take your career to the next level, we provide modern coaching with attention to YOUR voice.
We identify the direction you are looking to take and we make sure you train the techniques that will help you the most. This helps to develop your voice safely with great speed.
We can work on training towards certain sounds and styles, to help find your unique voice, or we can underly your existing sound with good technique to maintain a healthy voice in the future.

We teach all levels and all styles of singing in one to one lessons or your own groups accompanied by piano or guitar.
We can train with a view to both performing or recording your voice, whether you're in a band, you're a frontperson in a group or you are a singer songwriter wanting to make your voice more comfortable to get your own sound. We also run performance nights and jam sessions to develop your singing in improvisation and on stage.

Drum Tuition:

Take drum lessons to improve your rhythm, style and musicianship for performing with a band or recording as a session musician. Jan Jisa, our drum teacher is an experienced pro trained in the Czech Republic and now works as a teacher and session drummer in all styles. Lessons are available to players of all ages and levels, from beginners upwards, in a friendly, relaxed way, but giving you the results you're looking for.
Material covered will include:
• A wide range of beats and fills in many popular styles
• Fundamentals of technique- stick grips, foot technique, rudiments
• Transcription and analysis of the students favourite music
• Theory: reading, note values, timing concepts, and even advanced concepts like metric modulation and polyrhythms!
• Double bass drum techniques and 4 limb co-ordination

For beginners, you will be playing your first drum beat by the end of the first lesson! We will cover quite a lot of basic stuff that will give you a great sense of initial achievement, before going into more detail with regards to technique etc.
There's nothing worse than paying for a whole lesson just to be told how to correctly sit on a drum stool!

Piano / Keyboards, synths and workstations:

Simple, fun and easy to pick up methods to train your keyboard skills. If you're not interested in the black dots on paper and just want to play the damn instrument, these lessons are for you! Finger training, chords, music theory, songwriting or composition techniques, melody and harmony, accompaniment for your singing or for other musicians in a band... or record and produce your own tracks using the keyboard in our studio, mixing with drums, guitars and bass, etc.
Synthesiser and Workstation techniques also covered. Using fully weighted or standard keyboards, a Roland electronic piano, a Fantom X8, or bring your own keyboard.

Guitar Lessons:

We have several teachers ranging in prices to help you pick up the guitar and learn how to play from scratch, or to fine tune your music theory knowledge as a guitarist to help you with songwriting, composition, playing and improvisation.
We also run a recording studio and you can combine lessons with music technology to work on your timing, harmonies, rhythm and lead and create your own tracks.

Performance Nights:
We run regular gigs for our clients to performm whether its singing or playing an instrument. You gain confidence and performance experience with a live band and full sound system.
We also throw jam sessions to have fun and play with other singers.
