I am a novice runner and I've set myself the challenge of doing the Tour of Torfaen Half Marathon on 16 October, which takes place in the Pontypool / Cwmbran region.
Does anyone fancy rising to the challenge with me? I'm a 35 year old man and although I go jogging quite regularly but I very rarely run futher than 5 miles and have never done anything like 13.1 miles.
I would also be grateful to hear from any more experienced runners who may be able to offer me a little advice regarding training, diet, etc.
