My client deliver state of the art J2EE solutions for the telecommunications industry, effectively working with all the key ISP s, helping them to successfully launch new and emerging technologies (eg. Voice, Video / IPTV, VOIP etc.) With an award winning, patented product their current scope for growth is extensive, hence the need for a new QA / test manager to join their team. You will lead the lead the UK and India testing team, ensuring all software is maintained to a high quality against procedures and within project timelines. You'll play a key role in reviewing and agreeing software procedures; play an active role in reviewing and agreeing software procedures; provide guidance and training to members of the team; provide test planning and estimation; recommend and implement new technologies where appropriate; Test software against specifications; Format test reports; Be responsible for the automation of testing software activities; Create and maintain training material for new testing starters. USEFUL SKILLS: Team Leading exp. B/ground in Unix Envir, Unix/ NT Shell scripting. QTP, Quick Test Pro exp / Mercury exp. Knowledge of bug tracking management systems, Application Server exp (Weblogic 8.x, JBoss etc) Directory exp (LDAP, iplanet, etrust etc), Java, J2EE, MKS Configuration, Databases (Oracle, SQL), Windows
