The head chef of Babington House, Ronnie Bonetti, prides himself on the finest ingredients, most of which are grown on site or sourced locally. Having been the previous Head Chef of River Cafe, Ronnie prides himself on his exceptional training methods and creative development initiatives. This makes Babington House an ideal venue to continue your career. Home to a large “walled garden” much of the produce is prepared on site, with the menu being designed daily in conjunction with the committed and passionate gardener. Lastly, once a month, a celebrity chef will visit Babington House to cook a “club supper” alongside the brigade, for members and their guests.

We are seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our brigade at Babington House. You will be required to deputise in the absence of the Head Chef in addition to displaying excellent leadership and creative skills. The ideal candidate will be motivated and have a genuine passion for food and quality. You are able to work in a busy environment and thrive under pressure. Having an excellent overview of your team is of paramount importance, as well as being able to move the menu and kitchen forward.

As the Senior Sous Chef you will have to assist with daily menu changes which will involve selecting the freshest produce from the walled garden on site. Further, you will be required to keep on top of suppliers performance and up to date with market trends. Lastly, HR and Health and Safety knowledge are imperative.

Salary
