A large secondary school in Bristol are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistants to start at the end of October. The position is of a part time nature and will initially run until the end of the academic year.

The school strive to offer a stimulating, fun and open-minded curriculum, making the most out of childrens ever expanding minds. The school has recently benefited from additional private funding, making big improvements in school facilities, ICT and additional quality staffing.

 

The role will be supporting on a 1-to-1 basis within the classroom environment with a child who had Mild Learning Difficulties. You will be able to support in all classes, assist with any photocopying and writing, while also being able to be patient and implement any management procedures that may be beneficial. You will report directly to the SENCO and follow the Independent Education Plan, providing feedback when necessary.

The successful candidate will:



- Have strong experience with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

- Have a minimum of 3 months of experience with children within the Year 7-11 age range

- Be flexible and highly motivated

- Be able to support on a 1-to-1 and group basis

- Strive to get the most out of the children
