Service Manager
Our client is looking for a Christian Based who practices leadership service manager. The project has 21 staff. Hostel has 28 beds. Our client deals largely Homeless projects ex-offenders. The post may include some travel & over stops can be expected. The post may requires to work from a different location time to time.
Essential Management/Social work Qualification NVQ Level 4/5 - Desirable in Housing/community
justice or relevant professional qualification
Good IT skills
A proven Track record in performance management & experience management and experience
of working within generating a performance management culture
Successful in setting & managing budgets
Experience working in supported housing, care or voluntary sector
Service managers are required to manage the cost efficient delivery of the service they
manage to achieve the Trusts Aims & Objectives.
To manage a stable and effective service by the efficient delivery of the day- to -day service.
To demonstrate leadership by helping to create an environment that fosters team worker,
promotes diversity & which supports and represents services users, employers, partners
agencies & which suppliers.
Able to bring leadership, enthusiasm & creativity to development of the service.
Good communication skills all round
Ability to deal with delicate matters
Good understanding of the issues affecting ex-offenders
Demonstrable commitment to equality & diversity
