We have an exciting job vacancy for a Project Worker to support and guide a small team in delivering high quality, person-centred services in Taunton, Somerset. You will support the line manager to meet statutory requirements and generally improve the smooth running of the team.

Responsibilities include:

·Allocating work to team members and domestic staff
·Overseeing the completion of tasks in an effective manner
·Participating and utilising management information and data collection systems as appropriate
·Providing advice and information to service users
·Developing support packages
·Recognising indicators of substance misuse and making appropriate referrals
·Supporting individuals in reducing substance use
·Providing information and raising awareness about substances, their use and effects

Essential criteria:

·Experience in supervising a small team
·Proven track record of working within substance misuse
·Demonstrable education and/or training in substance misuse
·Understanding of the issues faced by service users with mental health and/or dual diagnosis challenges
·Track record that demonstrates DANOS compliance
·NVQ 3 or equivalent or willingness to work towards
·Experience in managing a caseload of service users with complex needs
