Operational Support Manager
We are now looking to recruit an Operational Support Manager for them - this is a senior role supporting the Regional Director to successfully develop the profit and enhance the service delivery of the regional operational business.
The job holder needs to ensure the consistency of operation across contracts & the effective implementation of company processes & procedures. An element of the role will be trouble shooting operational issues with the delivery teams and creating improvement plans to ensure contract retention and growth. Managing the delivery of effective support functions, helpdesk and compliance teams.
To assist in developing the business within defined areas to include improving the service delivery of a range of facilities & energy services. Required to take a lead role in developing and coaching the contract teams to actively grow and pursue new business opportunities. To specifically take ownership of the compliance, M4 Corridor business unit and helpdesk teams, to ensure compliance and service delivery throughout the region.
Key Accountabilities for this role include:
Optimising, development and monitoring of all regional support staff and functions
Helpdesk, PPM & Compliance Delivery to Sector KPI's.
Responsibility for the M4 Corridor business unit
Co-ordination of Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Compliance.
Evaluating tender opportunities & supporting bid delivery.
Supporting strategic contract review meetings & implementation of development plans/ strategy.
Promotion of the company mission, vision & values.
Management of business risks.
To deputise and assist with the Regional Director as and when required.
Ensure company procedures & statutory compliance are maintained.
Regional ownership for contract mobilisation & effective change management
Liaison with Development Teams to develop the area operational business
Play an integral role in regional strategy – development and implementation
Assume responsibility to employment law, health and safety and environmental legislation, company & commercial standards
In this role you will hold for P&L ownership for the M4 Corridor portfolio , manage support overheads to maximise net profit , control regional costs agreed with the Regional Director and develop the Operations Teams to become more commercially aware.You will also provide a professional service and represent the Company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction and service excellence are achieved throughout the Region.
