My name is Lidia. I am from Poland, in UK since March'07. At the moment I am working part time (from home) for construction/building company as a bookkeeper.
I am looking for additional part time job (permament or temp) as a Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant. Hours: max 120h per month. Offeres with a few hours per week/month welcome.

Experience & Skills:

- Sage Line 50 (more than 2.5 years), QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Accounting 2008, Excel
- Very Good Computer literacy: knowledge of Microsoft Office Package, Open Office, administration Windows 2000/XP/Vista and other software.
- Experience with many kind of business: computer shop/service, consulting, transport, dry-cleaner, imports of heating/plumbing goods, construction/building companies.
- Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
- Reconciliation of Suppliers & Customers Accounts
- Dealing with Petty Cash
- Credit Control
- Processing of purchase invoices and payments
- Processing of Sales invoices and receipts
- VAT Returns
- VAT from Import of Goods, payments for Customs
- Timesheets, Dealing with stuff hours (preparing details for payroll to be sent to Chartered Accountant)
- Subcontractors Veryfications, Monthly Tax Return & Statements (Construction Companies)
- Staff salaries preparation and sending details for payroll to Chartered Accountant
- Processing expense claims
- Double entry (manual posting)
- Basic cost of projects analysis
- Good spreadsheets skills
- Other accounting/admin tasks
