Experienced Sous Chef Required For Gastro Pub, South Bristol.
THIS BUSY GASTRO PUB WITH A DIVERSE CLIENTLE, ARE LOOKING TO RECRUIT A KNOWLEDGABLE SOUS CHEF WITH A LOVE OF GOOD QUALITY, SEASONAL FRESH FOOD.
WE ARE OPEN FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER 7 DAYS A WEEK, SERVING A RANGE OF MODERN EUROPEAN MENUS, CONSTANTLY STRIVING TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF FOOD AND SERVICE.
WE ARE COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING OUR STAFF AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO REALISE THEIR POTENTIAL.
AS SOUS CHEF YOUR PASSION AND ENTHUSIASM WILL BE KEY IN STAFF MOTIVATION.
YOU WILL BE ASSISTING WITH THE DAY TO DAY RUNNING OF THE KITCHEN, MENU DEVELOPMENT, ORDERING, STOCK CONTROL, TRAINING AND HEALTH AND HYGEINE.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE CREATVITY AND FLAIR, BE A SELF MOTIVATED TEAM PLAYER AND A GOOD COMMUNICATOR.
BASIC FOOD HYGEINE, NVQ LEVEL 2 & ROSETTE EXPERIENCE PREFERED.
ALTHOUGH EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE IS DESIRABLE, A STRONG SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE MAY BE CONSIDERED.
THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION AVERAGING 40-50 HOURS P/W.
THE SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
