This is a significant career development opportunity. Located in Dorking or Bristol, our engineering consultancy client is looking to extend the talent and experience they have within their organisation.
Job Description
You will be responsible for advising our clients on procuring, bidding and delivering complex Defence Systems Acquisition Programmes. You will also be leading and delivering a wide range of technical, project, commercial and business orientated processes within our Systems Engineering consultancy business.
The role will involve developing and maintaining senior customer and stakeholder relationships (in particular within the MoD DEandS IPTs and the Equipment Capability Customer).
You will be required to demonstrate experience in managing a variety of projects, contracts and people within tight timescales and budgets. You will be responsible for delivering, planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting projects to both customers and line management.
You will be working on a wide range of projects in the defence sector both directly for the MoD Acquisition organisations and the defence industry across the land, sea, air, weapons and ISTAR domains.
Requirements
You will be an experienced project manager with recent and extensive experience in the application of systems engineering principles in large complex defence procurement and acquisition programmes.
You will hold a MEng/MSc/BEng/BSc(Hons) Engineering related degree a be a Chartered Engineer.
