Im a 23 yr old guitarist looking to start a band

ive been playing for about 5yrs now and i mainly play rhythm but can also play lead. ive had experience with starting/joining bands before. im really looking to play some wicked riffs and writing catchy tunes and to just jam.

Looking to do a sort of rock pop punk slightly metal slighty screamo thing lol. but will be happy with however things turnt out tbh. :- )

So if anyone wants to meet and chat about to some music with me id be happy to do so. i will be looking for a singer (who can write lyrics), drummer and bassist. maybe another guitarist or someone on keys but thats not the most important atm. ive written some riffs and some completed songs but lyrics have yet tom come into play.

My main influeneces for a type of band are:

Senses fail, Alkaline trio, cobra starship, ffaf, blink so on... Lyrics are very important i think

But i would like to state id wanna look into covering some old school songs but in our own way. from 80's classics to some beach boys type stf

I have a friend that plays lead and would probably get him involved at some point as we have lots in common music wise and between us share a lot of contacts (if anything got serious musically) and have plenty of resources and recording equipment!

wouldnt be looking to do anything too big till after the new year as its a very busy time for me this time of year but would be happy to meet for a chat or jam anytime really
