Health Professionals require a Registered Nurse with Surgical Care Practice skills.

The SCP will use their advanced skills to support patients through their diagnosis and treatment pathway. Including:

> Cannulation
> Urinary Catheterisation
> Phlebotomy

Under the direction of the consultant surgeons the candidate will carry out operative procedures, whilst assisting with all aspects of pre- operative, intra-operative and post operative care.

Requirements:

> Theatre – Operating Department Practitioner Course (ENB 176)
> Anaesthetics - Anaesthetic Nursing Course (ENB 182)
> Teaching - Assessing/Mentoring course or equivalent (ENB 998)
> Prescribing – Extended and supplementary Nurse Prescribing Course
> Pre-op Assessment – Pre assessment course
> Minimum of two years recent experience in a clinical critical care environment
> Advanced IT skills
