Bristol flat share wanted
Gay guy looking to team up and look for a 2-bed place within 20m walk of centre
Hi
I’m a gay guy in my early 30’s who’s looking to hook up with one other gay guy/girl (mid-20s to late-30s) to find a 2-bed place to share. I’m ideally looking for people who aren’t on a strict timescale with regard to moving; as I’d like to get to know you (go out for drinks, etc) for a little while before we made any mutual decision on whether we’re suited as housemates. Once I’ve found the right person, I’d need to give 1 month’s notice where I currently am.
I’m a professional non-smoker who’s very clean and very tidy and I’m looking for another non-smoker who’s in steady, full-time employment and who’ll be equally house-proud. I like all the usual…going out for drinks and/or meals; clubbing on the scene once-in-a-while; theatre/comedy, films; good books and love a bottle of wine in also. I enjoy going out and having fun with mates but when I’m in I’m pretty quiet, calm and considerate. That said, I’ve a pretty rude sense of humour - few subjects are taboo (life’s too short) - and I’m definitely not prudish!
I was initially planning on staying in the Southville area (BS3) where I’ve lived for the last 4 years - but on reflection I’d definitely consider other areas that are also a short walk from the City Centre, soI’d be up for Clifton (BS8), Hotwells (BS2) or Clifton Wood (BS8) for example – as long as there’s free parking nearby.
I’m looking for a smart home to feel proud of and feel that just because a place is rented it doesn’t have to be scruffy – anyone out there feel the same? I’m after a small house/maisonette or large flat, with 2 double bedrooms and either 1 or 2 reception rooms. An outdoor space is a must (don’t mind if it’s a small garden or large balcony) as I love sitting out in the sun – reading a book, having a beer or glass of wine, having BBQs, etc. I’m ideally looking to spend between £300 and £400 per month on rent (before bills) but realise this depends on area and quality of property.
It’d be great if I found someone who I really get on well with and we became good mates as well as flatmates but I do realise that you don’t have to be bosom buddies to work well as sharers. The most important things to me are that we get on well enough and easily enough to feel comfortable and that we feel the same about a smart, clean and tidy home.
If you’d like to have a chat please give me a call on 07912 358313 – I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
Neil
