Senior Sous Chef
Position: Senior Sous Chef - Wiltshire
Type: Permanent
Salary: £26k - £30k - Negotiable
We are currently seeking an experienced and time served Senior Sous Chef to work at a beautiful and very well respected Wiltshire Manor House Hotel. Reporting directly to the Head Chef you will assist with the overall management of the kitchen, staff within the kitchen, health and hygiene and food preparation.
You will be responsible for:
Cooking and preparing food to 2+ rosette standard
Ordering food and ensuring stock rotation, identifying problems and rectifying them
Ensuring costs are kept to budget
Checking off food against delivery notes
Training kitchen staff and assisting junior chefs
Overseeing and ensuring a clean, tidy and safe working area
Responsible for staff rotas and arranging cover during holiday/busy periods
Ensuring all company procedures are adhered to at all times
We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator and a hands on manager who has excellent attention to detail.
Experience of working in a similar quality restaurant or hotel restaurant is required and an excellent knowledge of food is necessary. You must have a passion for hospitality, commitment and dedication.
The salary offered is between £26,000 and £30,000 per annum with other benefits including; free parking, meals on duty and uniform.
You will be working 5 days out of 7 per week with some split shifts.
