A World Leader in Media and Communications are looking to recruit a Director of Security, Privacy and Continuity to take responsibility for driving the proactive design to prevent incidents for auditing implementations ensuring they are secure and have the right level of reactive capability to incidents. The scope of the role is for all consumer services, but with special emphasis and focus on the critical common platforms such as SSO and E-commerce. You will be required to build the capacity, competence and operating environment of the organisation necessary to deliver a world class level of service.
The ideal applicant will require a minimum of 12 years solid and relevant security experience within a consumer internet services business. Have proven advanced skills and knowledge of Internet security and privacy, pro-active and re-active elements.
Have operational experience of global consumer Internet services including strong international experience and working with different cultures worldwide. Have the experience and strategic leadership skills to develop and implement solutions to meet today`s requirements and evolving future business needs.
Probably have a technical background enabling you to fully understand the principle technology, architectural, deployment and operational issues. Be very execution focussed and deliver change through technology and processes.
Bring strong leadership skills; sharing goals, interacting, presenting with excellent communication skills. Be able to demonstrate an agility to learn and evolve as business drivers change.
Have operated at senior level with the ability to influence key stakeholders. Be a very pragmatic and open, who can challenge but in a positive way. Have the ability to operate in a very complex matrix organisation.
Good understanding of ITIL service management processes especially related to security, privacy, business continuity and continuous service improvement.
Related Service Delivery competencies required include: Information Security Management, Consumer data protection (security and user authentication, CRM), Network/Service Security (e.g IDS,IPS, SSL/TLS, X.509, CISSP, PCI DSS), Security Legislation, Security Tools and Services, Security incident co-ordination, Security - Code Security Guidline and Code Review.
