Joining the infrastructure team in Bristol, your focus will be supporting engineers in their development of designs for clients. They will look to you to collect data by conducting surveys. You'll also design highway and drainage layouts, prepare CAD drawings and assist engineers with preparing reports.  Experience of working with or for a Local Authority would be beneficial though not essential. The role will require both client and public liaison therefore good verbal and written communication skills are essential, therefore good command of the english language is a pre-requiste.

An HNC in Civil Engineering is an essential requirement, as is experience of designing highway and drainage improvements and preparing bills of quantities and contract documents. You'll be proficient in AutoCAD and Excel; you'll also be numerate and able to work with Xrefs in AutoCAD. The position is within a small but expanding team of engineers delivering a variety of infrastructure and highway designs, primarily using PDS (ground modelling, road and drainage design) and Micro Drainage software. The successful candidate will have experience of technical design, and will primarily be required to assist and co-ordinate delivery of technical aspects of projects.
