Hello my name is Jonathan it’s been 12 months since the end of a long term relationship. I am 46 Single. 6' 2" Tall athletic-ish build. Dark brown hair and eyes.
I do smoke and I drink in moderation and I am not a vegetarian.

I don't feel my age and I could even be guilty of not always acting like mature blokes should? No pipe and slippers just yet!
I still like to go to a proper club that has a ‘casual dress’ door policy, where people go for a decent dance to a live band and or DJ mixes.
Can't say how long ago that was, more than a few months at least. Thank heavens for the Friday night specials on radio 1.
I am not into just dance music though. I like all sorts of music depending upon the mood. From Dance to Trance. Rock and Punk. Jazz and Funky House and a whole lot more besides.

I have lived in Bristol for over 12 years, but I still have a few twangs of my northern accent, I came to Bristol to study fine art sculpture as a mature student at Bower Ashton Faculty, which is situated next to Ashton Court. Of course I fell in love with Leighwoods and became quite interested in mountain biking and exploring all the wood land trails. A place where one can escape the noise of the city and blend with nature.
Afraid to say that I don’t drive, my mode of transport is a mountain bike, which also helps keep me in shape and my waist line down to 36". (Sometimes a challenge, if I’ve been hitting the chocolate too hard!)

I have a good sense of humour, slightly dark some times but always satirical. Life is too short to be too serious all the time and not see the funny side.
I also enjoy cooking various meals from good traditional home cooking to stir fry’s and curries when I feel like a bit of spice.
I also admit that I like to watch a few of the cookery shows on TV from time to time for additional tips and new ideas.
As for entertainment. I enjoy watching TV now and then, it has to be good comedy, informative or a good movie that has a decent story line and plot. I will go to sleep otherwise. Sorry I am not a football fan. Have to admit that I prefer an evening on the Xbox 360 if I am on my own, to an evening in front of the TV.

I work full time Monday to Friday in customer services; I have done similar roles in the past however this job is reasonably new, just like everything else in my life these days, it’s something that has become stable and secure and helps keep the wolf from the door.
Things have come together for me and I am moving forward.
I live in a rented private flat in Bedminster; it’s not Buckingham palace, but I manage to keep it tidy.
I do have two young children who I see regularly each Sunday, (so there are a few of their pictures on my walls.)
But then I have all this other 'me time' and no real single friends of a similar ilk to go out with, or spend quite evenings in with a bottle of wine soft lights and music and tlc.
I am not flush or flash. I am a simple guy getting by, but getting there.
It would be nice to find some one in the UK in BRISTOL, who knows how hard it is,
But who also knows how to let there hair down and have a good time.
Bike rides are optional of course.
