.NET Software Developers x 6 required (up to Team Lead status) – based from either Bristol or Birmingham locations.

My Client is an innovative internet software company specialising in providing systems and solutions for learners, teachers and education strategists.

Duties and Responsibilities; .NET Software Developers will take a hands-on development role on projects as part of an Agile development team. You will be working as part of or leading (depending upon experience) a multi-skilled team including project managers, business analysts, testers and creative design team members.

You will get an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies on enterprise scale systems, with some unique problems of security and scalability to solve. In return, you will be fully supported to gain Microsoft certification.

Experience: The following skills are required: .NET 2.0, ASP.NET using C# in Visual Studio.NET, SQL Server 2000 and 2005 design and development, XML, XSLT, Web Services, An understanding of the project life-cycle

The following skills are desirable: Demonstrate an understanding of development methodologies, ideally with a background of Agile development, Demonstrate a track record of working on complex large scale web development projects

Technical skills: AJAX, UML and Technical Design, CSS, Build automation/scheduling software (NAnt, MSBuild, CruiseControl.NET), Experience of other web platforms/technologies such as PHP/MySQL.
