Dig For Fire need a new drummer (post-punk-pop-rock-lo-fi)
We are a 3-piece, Bristol-based, post-punk-pop-rock band that will be drummer-less by the end of the year. We quite like to play loud every now and then so this is definitely a member we’re looking to replace.
Explaining our sound is a bit difficult because we like to keep minds open when writing songs so we’d love to find a drummer with an individual style to work with. We like to play both loud and quiet, so a volume button would be cool.
We’ve released two self-recorded albums with a fairly garage-punk tinge to them but are also about to release (Nov. 22) a new EP, which is a little more pop-rock/experimental.
We like to practice once a week (maybe more!), gig a few times a month (maybe more!) and generally have a lot of fun trying new things, so if you have something to bring then give us a call!
We currently take influence/listen to these kind of acts: Weezer, early Green Day, The Wave Pictures, Jeffrey Lewis, Against Me!, Moldy Peaches, Brakes, Broken Social Scene, Pixies, early-mid 90s indie-punk, and modern lo-fi rock bands.
Own transport would be good.
