Credit Controller
Job Title: Credit Controller Job Location: Central Bristol
A vacancy has arisen within a centrally located Bristol company in a credit function of three people. As the Credit Controller, you will support the Credit Manager in the provision of a quality credit control service to the operating business.
Key Tasks
In line with the company credit policy:-
- The review and resolution of all held orders.
- To ensure all customer account notes are up to date and specific actions performed in a timely manner.
- The processing of new account applications with reference to the approved status agency and where necessary, the credit insurer.
- The processing of domestic customer budget plan applications.
- To utilise the aged debt report and efficient and effective communication, in ensuring that customers pay to terms.
- The production and distribution of weekly business centre credit control reports.
- To ensure that all payments received are allocated against the relevant invoices.
- Raise account journals as necessary.
- The processing of BACS updates, unpaid DDs
- The processing of requests for copy invoices, proof of delivery, history statements and consumption details.
- To ensure that all documentation is correctly filed in the relevant account folders. Secondary Tasks
- The input of cheques and credit card payments.
- The production of debt collection letters.
- The raising of manual invoices as directed by the Credit Manager.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected by the Credit Manager/Finance Director.
