My client, a market leader in construction and property recruitment within the UK, is expanding and is in the market for a consultant for their permanent desk. The role requires a methodical and quality driven consultant with previous experience within either the recruitment industry or within the relevant sector, as market knowledge is key.

Experience in construction or engineering recruitment would be ideal, but other white collar recruitment areas will be strongly considered, such as IT or Finance.

The role will be very much consultancy based, liasing with Architects and Construction professionals alike, but you should still have the capability to build a strong rapport with new contacts on a regular basis through new business.

Consultants with either permanent or contract recruitment experience will be considered, as there are variable teams dealing with industry specific clients in both the freelance and permanent markets. All new members of the team will go through a structured induction programme, providing you with the best possible support in the initial few months.

This client is growing at a considerable rate, with excellent opportunities for career progression to a more senior role. In return, salary will be based on level of experience with car allowance or company car.

Coming in with 6 months+ experience, an uncapped OTE of £30-£40k 1st year is expected and consultants at this level are usually earning £45-£60k by their second year in the company.
