We are looking for a high quality teacher of Mathematics who will be able to teach all years and performance levels, have good differentiation and child centred teaching skills.
Principal Responsibilities:
To teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3 & 4 to pupils of all abilities.
To participate in the development of appropriate syllabi, materials, and schemes of work.
To monitor and control the storage and use of teaching materials and books in relation to the subject taught.
To promote and develop Mathematics throughout the school.
To provide full and adequate reports on pupil progress as required by school arrangements.
To be a Form Tutor of an assigned Tutor Group and carry out related duties in accordance with the general job description of a From Tutor.
To take an appropriate share of general school duties.
To take part in meetings related to specific and general duties and to participate in parent consultation.
To observe all Health & Safety requirements in relation to the teaching of Mathematics.
In addition to the main teaching requirements the postholder may be required to teach other subjects in accordance with school needs and the qualifications of the postholder.
