Head Chef / Bristol / Fresh Modern British / Restaurant / c£25k+ Negotiable

We're looking for a Head Chef for a new restaurant operation in Central Bristol. The restaurant offers a fresh, modern and locally sourced menu with an emphasis on locally farmed produce.

We are looking for applicants with a solid experience in running all aspects of a very busy fresh food kitchen operation. Of particular importance is skill working with butchery, fresh stocks and sauces. Everything will be freshly made on site including breads so an excellent all-round knowledge of all aspects of cooking is essential. Of equal importance is strong commercial kitchen management experience; a track record of achieving strong GP's essential. This will include skills in managing staff, suppliers, stock management etc. In addition to the above skills we are looking for personable applicants with a reliable, calm and thorough approach to their work. Shouters and those with fiery temperaments should not apply.

Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience but will start in the region of £25,000+
