Reporting to the Project Manager\ Managing \ Senior Quantity Surveyor we are looking for a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor. The successful applicant with be responsible for:

- The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts;
- Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
- Method of measurement for Highway Work
- Specification for Highway Works
- Sub Contract and Design Procurement
- Submission of Cost Value Reconciliation
- Cash draw down Plans
- Preparation of cost to complete
- Analysis of tender allowances


Each applicant must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Approach and Behaviour: To manage your work ensuring the number one priority is Health and Safety in everything you undertake. To show a committed and enthusiastic approach with the need to be as flexible as required. To operate in accordance with the Ethos of the NEC.

- Experience: Preference that a similar post/position held previously. Knowledge of ICE and NEC Conditions of Contract , Heavy Civil Engineering (including Structures) and Highways

- Qualifications: Preferred professional qualifications applicable to your discipline.

- Computer Skills: Good computer skills required in discipline and knowledge of e-mail and collaborative project working packages.
