Our client operates within the Water Utility sector, primarily within Southern England, their work consists of planned and reactive M&E maintenance design and main installation contracts both for M&E engineering and civil engineering.
The office near Bath is currently seeking an M&E estimator to join the team due to increased workloads from like likes of Severn Trent and Thames Water.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the estimating projects between the values of £500 to £2m. You will obtain competitive quotes from suppliers to produce competitive, cost efficient estimates. Ability to build relationships is essential, as is the ability to work alongside the bid manager in producing tenders. From time to time you will be require to attend site and site meetings as well as internal team meetings.
It is essential applicants have mechanical and electrical experience and have worked within the water industry. Knowledge of pumps, pipes, filtration, controls and instrumentation etc is essential
No specific qualifications are necessarily required however experience and proven experience in the field is very important!
