Sous chef for fresh, seasonal, local kitchen, immediate start
The Market Place is an independently owned and run restaurant serving fresh, locally sourced, seasonal food in the center of Bristol.
Due to continued growth and a busy Christmas ahead we are looking for a second chef to come and help drive the kitchen forward, maintain consistency and add to the already high quality service.
This is ideally a position for a real foodie chef, we are looking for someone who has a passion for delivering good quality, honest, simple food with pride, enthusiasm and above all dedication. We are looking for someone who wishes to bring their own ideas to the table, someone who will work hard for the team and above all, someone who really cares about the food they are sending out.
This is a young, forward thinking company looking to take on like-minded, ambitious individuals who really want to make a difference. The job is for a hard working, hands on chef who will be part of the team, looking to teach those around him while being responsible for consistently high quality food.
You may be an experienced sous chef or someone looking to climb the ladder, what really matters is that you have the balls to stand up and be counted when everyone thinks they are a critic and the passion and commitment to be part of a well-organized, properly prepared, motivated kitchen.
