I know this is a long shot but I'm wanting to meet someone with a boat to hang out with over this coming summertime. Now I'm not talking someone whose dad has bought them a yacht and they get someone to man it while they sit there sunning themselves or anything just someone who knows how to sail and owns their own vessel that wouldn't mind showing me the ropes (literally!). I've wanted to know how to sail for years and as each summer goes past the desire gets stronger!

I'm not thinking I'd just take from the arrangement. I'd help out with the maintenance when time would allow and would also consider doing some time swapping (I teach computing so could help you with account keeping or other IT skills or even show you the basics of programming if you like and I can also salsa dance amongst other things.)

So if you think it'd be kinda cool to teach a complete novice how to sail and watch her get her hands dirty then please drop me an email. I live in Weston-super-Mare but could travel.
