My client is a prestigious software development company in the Gloucestershire region with a global reputation requires a software development engineer to join their successful Research and Development team to develop new software products.

The potential candidate will have a fluent awareness of product requirements and features through regular product review meetings and discussions with customers, and staff, translate the functional requirements into technical design specifications, but also produce software code, documentations, and test plans with a quality of frame work. They are also expected to investigate and apply new development tools and programming techniques where appropriate.

Other duties will entail producing project overviews when necessary for general distribution, prepare and distribute new product software upgrades, with accompanying documents according to product release produces, and provide support for installation and maintenance of engineers while implementing new products and techniques.

To succeed in this role its vital the successful candidate has acquired a computer science degree or equivalent, they must have spent over three years programming and developing web applications using Asp.Net. Possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft.Net v2/v3 Development, C#. Net programming language, Microsoft Transact SQL. However skills such as Web Services, Java, Active X, Network & hardware communications UML are considered advantageous.
