Skills wanted: trained Coffee Barista(3), Donut cooks, Smoothie-makers, Toastie-makers (on a grill). And sometimes to be the staff cook! (Some weeks we have 5 staff, some weeks we have 10 staff, so cooking the staff food ain't a huge job but we like to eat good healthy food so you need, before you're hired, to convince me you're a good cook, a keen cook and a clean cook. We don't have time to be sick, trust me.)
If you have any of the above training, or have worked in general jobs in a busy kitchen, and want to work at The Big Chill, WOMAD, Cropredy, Oxegene in Ireland, and other festivals every week (almost) this summer July, August, September, then give us a call on 07884 238 057. (We are more or less sorted for staff for Glastonbury, but call us anyway; someone might bail, or we will at least put you on the short list for Glasters next year).
You will need a sleeping bag and a tent (this is 'Life on the Road' after all) and some photo ID (we fly you to the Dublin festival). We give you a free ticket into the festival, and the staff meals are free . The downside? It's hard work and the pay is basic. (But it beats working indoors all summer, doesn't it? And you get into some brilliant festivals!)
