It’s quite a while since I’ve been out on a date, most of my friends have paired off and here I am still single.

I’m friendly, honest, kind and very down to earth. I’m a social worker and really enjoy my job. I’m 29 years old (nearly 30!) and live in Bristol. I’m a sociable person, but also enjoy my own space and company. I like reading, crafts, going around art galleries and museums. I love sailing and walking. I enjoy going out for coffee and meals and watching a good film at the cinema or staying home on the sofa watching a dvd. I’m always interested in getting to know new people and I like when people have different interests to me (as well as similar ones too) because I love going new places and trying new things. My friends can’t work out why I’m single because they say I’m nice looking, ‘normal’, fun to be around etc. I think it’s because I don’t ever have the courage to ask anyone out on a date or to tell them if I’m attracted to them and make the first move. This is why I am turning to the internet. I guess ideally I’m looking to find Ms Right and for a long term relationship, however to begin with I’m just looking to exchange a few emails, go out on a date and see where things take us. If we meet up and we have nothing in common, well nothing is lost is it? If we get along well but there’s just no chemistry, perhaps we can be friends? And if we hit it off, well, who knows where it could lead ...
