We have been serving Pan Asian street cuisine in Manchester, Leeds and London for over ten years and we're very excited about opening our new restaurant in Cabot Circus.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head / Second Chef / Shift Leader you will supervise the kitchen team to ensure:
Food is prepared and cooked according to spec manuals
Food is ordered, delivered, stored and prepped correctly and to food and timing standards
Members of the kitchen team know how to use, clean and maintain kitchen equipment
Health and Safety guidelines are met
Support for the Head and Second Chef with training requirements for the kitchen team
Feedback through meetings with Kitchen Management and team.
The Candidate
We're looking for a Relief Kitchen Shift Leader who is organised, enjoys leading and takes pride in a job well done. In return we will offer you full training and exciting career opportunities. You should have:
A good track record in kitchen operations
City & Guilds / NVQ 2-3 qualifications helpful.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills with a capacity to self-motivate & motivate others
Numeracy & analytical skills
Ability to prioritise & be organised around a variety of tasks
Methodical approach to work and an eye for detail & good presentation

Salary: £6.50 per hour
