Robert Half International are pleased to be working with a publishing company who are responsible for the production of a number of successful nationwide magazines. Due to recent expansion and a restructure, they are looking to recruit a Commercial Accountant to join the team in Bristol to support the business in the South West.

The Role

The role of Commercial Accountant will report to the Commercial Finance Controller based in London. This is a new position and although primarily based in Bristol, may will some travel to other offices in the South West on a weekly basis. The purpose of the role is to relate financial information and concepts to non-finance managers throughout the business to support and advice with regard to strategic and operational business decisions. The job has three main elements:1. Work with the local sales managers on a weekly basis to analyse forecasts and budgets to help them understand the business and how they can help/improve profitability/revenue etc2. check, analyse and report on month end and, in conjunction with sales managers, report to senior board with regard to activity within the business.3. support the Regional Sales Director with operational and stategic decisiion by providing a solid and accountable financial viewpoint. You will be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA and have relevant experience.

Salary & Benefits

Up to £50k plus car allowance, pension, healthcare, bonus and 25 days holiday.
