A part-time carer is required for a 39-year-old tetraplegic man who is wheelchair bound.

Care duties include: personal care, help with getting up and dressing, washing and help with going to his work place. The successful applicant will work four to five mornings per week (starting, at times, at 6:00a.m. or 6:30am). The precise number of working days and hours will be mutually agreed, but it is expected the working week will be in the range of 10-14 hours. The suitable applicant will have an easygoing cheerful nature and be capable of carrying out instructions and tasks given to him/her.


Experience with spinal cord injuries would be useful but not essential, as training can be given.
