Research Engineer Loads Control
Urgent requirement for a Research Engineer - Loads Control to join their aeromechanics team. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in the assessment of air-vehicle load control technologies, improving aircraft performance using active flow control for load control.
The position of Research Engineer - Loads Control requires you to interface with academic and research organisations within load control and understand fully the engineering requirements and constraints of the project. You will be required to manage and deliver demonstrations of solutions using simulation or testing on relevant problems to prove out theories.
The Research Engineer - Loads Control will need to have previous experience and proven expertise in aircraft load control and aeroelastics. It is essential that you have the ability to undertake numerical analysis tools such as CFD and aircraft loads model, you will need to be able to interpret results and use them to develop engineering solutions.
The successful candidate for the position of Research Engineer - Loads Control will be educated to degree level or equivalent in mathematics/physics or similar with additional studies in the area of aircraft analysis/aerodynamics/aeroelastics.
This position is commutable from Bath, Bristol, Portishead, Filton, Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon.
