We are two ladies in our late twenties who are looking for a new housemate to join our gorgeous home in Easton. The room available is spacious double and comes with furniture: double bed (a futon), wardrobe, desk/table, bookcase and shelving unit. It overlooks the garden, which is south facing, and so is quiet and sunny - weather permitting.

The rent includes Broadband, which is wireless, phone line rental, we have a freeview box, TV license, council tax, sewage and water. We pay our gas and electricity through my account and it works out at around 20 quid a month.

We would like someone who appreciates good fresh food - we have a growing collection of veg - some planted and some fledglings waiting to settle in and we are budding gardeners who would like grow their own food. I'm a an outreach Playworker with a local charity and my housemate has just qualified as a conservation biologist. We are both into sports, her more than me but they are running, swimming, yoga and climbing. We work hard, both full time, and enjoy coming home to a calm quiet home, so party heads aren't appreciated at 4 in the morning.

Don't get me wrong, we love a good party, live music, experimental cooking for friends and a good glass of wine/ale/cider/R&G/G&T and a good film. We are independent women with our own friends but we socialize together and eat together when we can. We are looking for a like minded person that won't sit in their room all evening but we respect each others space - we don't have to be best mates.

I'm not veggie - I've given up fags and don't drink much but meat is step too far. My housemate is veggie but we agree that everyone draws their own line, so an ethical interest in food and also someone who doesn't believe that 'Anti-bac' will solve the worlds problems, is essential. We have an active interest in the environment and social issues but we know how hard it is to change the world so one small step at a time. We are ideally looking for a non-smoker, you definitely aren't able to smoke in the house.

For those who don't know Easton, it is full of community vibrancy and local independent amenities. You are not far from the centre and within spitting distance of the cycle path. We are keen cyclists and we have covered space in the garden for a bike or two. The house is on Britannia Road (the map isn't quite correct).
