Do you want to work for an award winning hire and conference staging company? Our clients have an excellent opportunity for someone like you to join their dynamic Corporate Event Production Team.
As such the duties would include;
Taking an accurate brief, from both prospective and regular clients, with regard to their forthcoming live event or studio production requirements.
Preparing a written proposal and also a cost quotation in order to ensure that both the client and the technical support personnel understand what is required to ensure a successful event or production is achieved.
A close liaison with the other conference team members, the Directors and the senior AV technicians is essential, in order to successfully co-ordinate the forthcoming conferences and events.
Self organisation, careful pre-planning and a client focus is an essential part of this role.
The candidate will need at all times, to express a friendly and efficient disposition when liaising with clients. To assist in the role they will need to possess an excellent telephone manner and be proficient in the use of word and excel computer packages.
Working hours will range from approximately 8 to 6pm Monday to Friday, and in addition they will require to carry a mobile telephone at all other times when there are events taking place, as technicians may need information and may need to contact them regarding events.
On occasion when mutually beneficial, they may be asked to visit events which are taking place, in order to successfully pass on the information or arrangements that they or fellow colleagues have made to both the on site technical and event management teams.
Candidates will have experience within the live / events industry. You will have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise your workload, and work well under pressure. Good communication and organisational skills are a must. You will be required to work under your own initiative and be prepared for the demanding hours that this type of job sometimes requires. A current driving license is essential.
