Senior Engineer
£25,000

Our client, a world leader in defence manufacturing, is looking to recruit a Senior Engineer to provide day to day support and undertake a wide variety of electro-mechanical tasks generated within and outside of the Department.

You will be responsible for the design, build and test of prototype electronic and mechanical equipment and ancillary hardware and supervising Workshops and Development Lands for hardware build and assembly. You will be required to attend trials and will have the responsibility for keeping department test equipment in calibration. You would also be the Electrostatic Discharge )ESD) Co-ordinator for the department.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in a technical environment and be skilled in the use of electronic equipment for build and test. You will be qualified to HNC/HTEC level in a relevant discipline ie. Electronics/Electrical Engineering and competent with the use of hand and powered machine tools.

Our client offers a salary of £25,000 with benefits package including 25 days holiday, discounted healthcare and flexi time.
