The desired candidate must be able to deliver Citizenship to Key Stage 3 and 4, whilst some experience at KS5 would be an advantage.  Citizenship is a popular subject at KS4 and we hope that the success of this subject continues into the new sixth form.  The successful candidate will be required to take responsibility for the planning, preparation and assessment of lessons, ensuring that work is appropriately differentiated to stay relevant to mixed ability groups.
You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience.  This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management.  You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.  Energy, ambition and enthusiasm are a must!
