I play drums, and love all things percussive (cow bells, wood blocks, etc!).

I have been playing drums for about 6 months and I'm nae bad, but it would be really great to play with others - to exchange ideas, to improve my technique, etc. In terms of influences, its a hard thing to pin down & i'd prefer people not to judge on that but to give some idea.... i like QOSTA, ESG, Animal Collective, rockabilly, Can & krautrock generally, the horrors, the cramps....
I love electronic music & play a lot of vinyl in me spare time - especially love techno (berghain, detroit), house (chicago, deep, tech-house) and I'd say this beat-driven music is also an influence.

I'd say my drumming style at present is solid, minimal but definitely i like to have a groove in there. i like to experiment with different ways of playing, not just drums & sticks. obviously i haven't been playing long so don't expect too much virtuosity. i'm just lookin to play with other musicians at any standard for fun & experimentation to see what happens

currently i just have an electric kit due to having to keep neighbours happy but does the job for now.
