Purpose
As part of a team of HRA's, your role will be to support fee earners within the Clinical Negligence department.

Duties
The work is part time and is paid at an competitive hourly rate by timesheet, as and when assistance is required. The work will be done out of the office at the HRA's home address, but they will be required to come into the office to collect and drop off files.

Competencies
The role involves:
• the sorting and indexing of medical records,
• the preparation of a chronology,
• advice concerning any relevant missing documents and
• sometimes preliminary confidential comments on the issues raised in the case may be required.
A keen attention to detail and effective organisational skills are therefore essential

Experience
A nursing or medical background is essential.
Any legal background is an advantage
