Our leading Optical company require an Optometrist. You will require a recognised qualification in Optometry.

Role:

> To uphold values by providing a professional domiciliary service and upholding our high clinical standards.

> Demonstrating outstanding customer care skills.

> Actively promote the company as the preferred supplier at every opportunity.

Duties include:

> To spend time in the field testing patients who have range of different needs, and are unable to attend a high street optician

> Show strong commercial awareness

> Develop skills and capabilities of team

> Treat all care home staff, residents and colleagues with empathy, respect and warmth

> Demonstrate clarity when discussing results of eye examinations with managers

Essential Skills:

> Recognised qualification in Optometry

> Customer service experience

> Excellent interpersonal skills – courteous, informative and warm

> Excellent communication skills, listening, spoken, written.

> Strong organisational skills with efficient administration abilities

> Motivated and tenacious, with drive to succeed.

> Self-managed with strong work ethic

> Decision making and problem solving to reduce potential problems

Additional•

> £35,000 - £50,000 plus bonus

> Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8.30 – 5.30 with an hour for lunch

> The holiday entitlement is 28 days per year (including statutory holidays) plus Christmas shut down over the festive and new year period
