fun and reliable 24 yr old American looking for welcoming family

My name is Tessa and I'm 24 from North Carolina, USA. I came to the UK after falling in love with the country while on my around the world trip in 2007-2008. However, rather than travelling I intended to finish my university studies. However, due to the high number of Americans applying for financial aid this year, I did not receive funds until after the course began. I plan to (hopefully) enter in January, providing financial aid comes in time.

I am the middle child of 7 so I grew up babysitting my younger siblings as well as my 4 younger cousins. While in university I ran for university's cross-country and track teams, so I did not have much free time to work, but I did manage to become a personal trainer and babysit.

The past 4 summers I have worked an all girls' summer camp in America called Camp Danbee. The camp has around 400 campers, aged 7-15. I taught numerous activities from fitness, track and field, and fishing. I have also volunteered for 3 years at America's Camp, a co-ed camp for children (aged 6-16) who lost a parent in the 9/11 attacks on America.

I am a very active and outgoing and would love to work with a family that will take me in and help me become a small part of their family. I currently live in Long Ashton with a couple and their 3 year old daughter. I babysit a couple nights a week as well as take her out on day trips as often as I can in order to give her parents a bit of free time.

Please contact if you think we could be a good fit.

Tessa
